EXTANT: Surviving compatriots of the dodo

This photo story is a reminder that the Island of Mauritius lost much more than the dodo. But despite the numerous species lost and current high level of endangerment, particularly for the native flora , Mauritian biodiversity have high conservation value and holds several treasures as illustrated by five extant species.
